How To Style Fall Skirts For An Edgy Look

Last week I decided to pull an item from my closet and see how many different outfits I could make. In about an hour I had 5 complete looks using the same item. I was so surprised that I came up with 5 looks. I have a tendency to stick to the same formula of an outfit. Very rarely will I try something new. Like how I mentioned last week about believing in myself, I need to start believing that I actually know what I’m doing. I’m typically more of a jeans girl in the colder months, but I am loving all of these fall skirts I am seeing.

Fall Skirts

A couple months ago I was in NYC attending TheCurvyCon, you can check out my vlog too, and picked up this adorable skirt from Loft. I love everything about this skirt from the cut, color, and fabric (it’s a faux suede!). I knew I had wanted to make the skirt more casual for the majority of the time, so I had purchased a simple graphic tee to pair with it. Once I had the skirt home, I couldn’t stop thinking about other ways I could style it.

Since I am wanting to challenge myself and shop my own closet more, I thought this would be a perfect start for fall wear. For the first look, I wanted to make the skirt a little edgier. Animal print is going strong again this fall season and I had this Eloquii leopard print top from last year that I paired with the skirt. I added this AH-MAH-ZING moto jacket I received from Dia&Co and then opted for my open-toe booties. I decided to go with a statement earring and I love these ones that I recently picked up at Frencesca’s. They have the most gorgeous accessories and the prices are amazing too.

I love mixing my styles together. A little edgy with a little classic. This skirt was definitely a smart buy. Loft has more great skirts and they are currently 50% off at the moment! I can’t wait to show you the third look! Let me know what you think below!
