Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and a great start to your week. Josh surprised baby girl and myself with membership passes to our local zoo! The weather was perfect yesterday, so we took our daughter to the zoo for the first time! Now that it is time to go back to the work week hustle, I wanted to give you something that can add some pop to your makeup routine. L’Oreal has an Infallible Paints collection and the lip paints are perfect for that little extra pop.
Why I Love
I have given myself a goal this summer to experiment more with my makeup. While I love my natural/nude colors and shades of pink, I wanted to break away from that and see what else is out there that I love. L’Oreal has a wide range of colors in their lip paints which make these a great choice. From light pinks and nudes to lavender, coral and blues! These bold lip colors are just as bright as ones I have seen by Urban Decay and Kat Von Dee. Recently, I discovered there are matte and metallic shades available on L’Oreal’s site that I have not seen in store. The metallic paints would definitely push me away from those neutral shades!
The price of the lip paints are a huge plus for me. At $9.99 ea they are a no brainier, especially if you aren’t sure if you are going to like the color. No matter how much you try colors on your hand, they always turn out different once they are on your face. If you still aren’t sure you want to take the plunge, I would check with the store to see if they accept returns on used beauty care items. I know Wall-greens will take the return, even if you don’t have the original receipt and give you store credit.
L’Oreal’s lip paints are saturated with pigment to give that high impact statement. The liquid lipstick comes in 14 different shades including colors like; Orange Envy, Sultry Sangria, Navy Spry and Taupeless. The applicator is a contoured felt tip to give you a smooth, full coverage finish.
I currently have three of their liquid lipsticks in my collection. Spicy Blush, which is my safety net color, is more of a nude pink. Wild Rose is my bright, bold pink color. Cool Coral is for me, my wild card color. I am still trying to get use to the coral, but all three of these colors are going to be great options for everything the summer has to bring.
Are you trying any bright or bold colors this season? Let me know!
